Declaration of Faith

What We Believe

1. The Scriptures

We believe that the Bible, composed of the Old and New Testament, is the inspired and infallible Word of God and the final authority for faith and life. It contains everything necessary for salvation, and no other texts or creeds are required (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

2. The Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who are coeternal, coequal, and coexistent (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 14:16-17).

3. Jesus Christ

We believe in Jesus Christ as the eternal Son of God. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on the cross to save us from our sins, rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, and will return with power and glory (John 1:1-4; Matthew 1:23; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

4. The Fall and Salvation

We believe that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Salvation is available to all through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, by grace through faith alone, not by works (Romans 3:23-25; Ephesians 2:8-9).

5. The Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin, regenerates believers, and empowers the Church through baptism in the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues and other spiritual gifts (John 14:26; Acts 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:7-11).

6. Sanctification

We believe in sanctification as a continuous work of the Holy Spirit, enabling believers to grow in holiness and become more like Christ (Romans 12:1-2; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; 1 Peter 1:15-16).

7. The Church

We believe that the Church is the body of Christ, called to worship God, equip believers, and proclaim the Gospel to the world. All Spirit-filled believers are part of the universal Church (Ephesians 1:22-23; Matthew 28:19-20).

8. The Ordinances

We believe in two ordinances: Believer's baptism by immersion as a public declaration of faith in Christ (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38), and the Lord's Supper as a memorial of Christ's death and a celebration of His presence and future return (1 Corinthians 11:23-26).

9. Divine Healing

We believe in divine healing, provided in the atonement of Christ and demonstrated through prayer and faith (Isaiah 53:4-5; James 5:14-16).

10. The Blessed Hope

We believe in the imminent return of Christ to gather His Church, followed by His visible return to establish His millennial reign (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:4-6).
